Grace and Mercy

I looked up a couple definitions today. Here’s what I found:

grace - (1) a state of sanctification by God; the state of one who is under such divine influence; (2) the free and unmerited favor or beneficence of God

mercy - compassionate or kindly forbearance shown toward an offender, an enemy, or other person in one’s power

I have been a jerk this week. My pride/ego got the best of me. There are people in my life who continue to show me grace and mercy and for that I am eternally grateful.
