Thanksgiving

We just got back from a fun few days with Nathan’s family. I think Thanksgiving is officially my favorite holiday. We spent the day with Nathan’s grandparents in Tazewell, VA. The Davidsons are awesome company and we always look forward to seeing them during the holidays. Nathan’s grandmother is a wonderful cook. Everything she prepared for Thanksgiving was delicious. I wish there was some way to transport her cooking up here to Reston, VA.

We also spent some time with Nathan’s parents, brothers, and their families. We brought our Wii with us and it was a big hit. Luckily no one got hurt while swinging the controllers around.

I got to meet and hold baby Zoe for the first time. She slept in my arms. She is so beautiful.

And somewhere along the way we (Nathan and I) found time to see Nathan’s best friend and my best friend. Whew. We did a lot, didn’t we?

Thanksgiving 2008 was a huge success. I’m looking forward to Christmas 2008. Happy holidays everybody!
